We are pleased to introduce our new “colleague”, affectionately known asPUMA TT2500 SY. This multi-axis turning centre manufactured by Doosan, world leader in the construction of turning and milling machines, will enable us to increase our turning capacity. Our history

 

AST2M was set up in the heart of the Ardennes, the cradle of French metallurgy,in 1967, by the FETROT family. It was taken over by the Texalliance Group in 2013 and FETROT INDUSTRYjoined the LAMBERT network in 2021.

Today, AST2M plays a key role in an ecosystem of complementary expertise and skills that allows the company to meet the complex subcontracting needs of most of France’s industry players.

An operational partner for foundries through expertise unanimously recognised within the machining industry, AST2M is a key player in subcontracting for transport, agricultural machinery, civil engineering and hydraulics.

The future in motion

For AST2M, 2023 brings new challenges. Recruitment challenges! There are turning machine operator, milling machine operator, computerised numerical control machine operator and methods office technician vacancies to be filled.

Performance challenges. Significant investments are planned for production equipment expansion (acquisition of a new welding robot), construction of a new workshop dedicated to mechanical welding.
